Frida Kahlo Eye Pillow with Slipcover

A soft and sweet eye pillow and slipcover set made with the finest organic aromatherapy ingredients. This eye pillow features a collage of mine of Frida Kahlo on one side and a ornamental design of birds and flowers on the other. Eye Pillows all are filled with organic flaxseed & organic lavender. Lavender's natural herbal scent, is known for its soothing, calming effect. Flaxseed is generally recognized as the ideal filling for eye pillows because of it's ability to gently contour to the face and it's ability to retain hot or cold temperatures. The oil in the flax plant allows for better absorption of moisture and will not dry out or crack like other fillers such as rice or buckwheat.

To warm: Place the pillow in the center of your microwave so that it can turn easily and no edges touch the sides of the microwave. Start by warming the pillow for 20 seconds on high and then in 5 second increments if you desire the pillow warmer. Start conservatively and proceed with caution as microwaves do vary. You don't want to "cook" the flax seeds or scorch your pillow. You just want your pillow to be comfortably warm and relaxing.
To cool: Place pillow in a sealed plastic bag and store it in the freezer or allow it to cool for at least two hours. Keeping your eye pillow in a plastic bag will help protect the pillow from moisture, odor or spills from surrounding foods.
