Natalie Wood was a Hollywood star for most of her life. Her first role, although short was when she was 4 years old. She became a star when she was 7 years old, performing with stars as huge as Orson Welles and Claudette Colbert. She had a successful career as a teenager, being nominated for her first Academy Award, this one for Best Supporting Actress was when she was just 16. She would go on to receive two more nominations by the time she was 25. She had several more roles over the next decade and a half was always a highly regarded actress. Her life ended tragically during a boat trip on November 29, 1981. The circumstances regarding her death have never been fully discovered although ultimately determined to be"drowning and other undetermined factors."
