Hildegard of Bingen was a Renaissance Woman nearly 400 years before the Renaissance was a thing. Also known as Saint Hildegard, she is a giant if not an original founder of scientific history in Germany. She studied medicine, botany and theology. She wrote many plays, poems and songs. Her biography is rich and certainly worth study and appreciation.
