Marie Antoinette Princesse Tea Towel

Marie Princesse features on the front a design of mine based on French Fashion Caricature of Marie Antoinette showing the remarkable coiffure à l’Indépendance ou le Triomphe de la Liberté which she wore to celebrate France's naval prowess. Such politicization of hair was a sign of the extravagance of the 1770s, much of which was inspired by Marie-Antoinette. It is just such a fantastic image. On the back of the tea towel is her coat of arms and emblem.
