This is a dedication to Sappho. Highly lauded as a Greek poet from approximately 640-610 B.C. Her themes were evocative and sensual. She produced 9 volumes of work which were placed in the Library of Alexandria. She created the Sapphic stanza style of poetry. Her poems were created to be played alongside music. Plato, it is rumored called her the "10th Muse".
