Yes, we are aware that we have our share of, shall we say, unsavory characters on Tartx. Don't get us wrong, we're not "fans" of Elizabeth Bathory. She was a madwoman! So was Vlad the Impaler. Henry VIII was less than a gentleman on a few occasions. I guess between time healing wounds and a pinch of a fascination with the macabre a few of these villains and miscreants end up on our pages.

This pocket mirror features a collage of mine of The Blood Countess Elizabeth Báthory set against an old Hungarian script with the Bathory family crest. It is thought that Bram Stoker's Count Dracula was also strongly influenced by the legends of Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary.
