Occasionally when digging deep into my collection of ephemera I come across images that just speak to me. For me, they're just begging to have more of a story put to them. This is one of those images. We love the strength and courage brought out so brilliantly by Edward Penfield in this piece. This piece was used during WWI as part of an advertising campaign to help raise funds for a host of organizations raising money for troops during WWI.
