There is something about a great poster, well several things really that occasionally elevate "just a poster" to something approaching really great art! We love the long history that posters have in popular and populist culture, both above ground and below ground. We have collected a series of Propaganda posters, most from the 20th century.

This was one of the most famous Propaganda posters during WWII.  It was created by artist Nina Vatolina and was a reminder to keep gossiping down.   The caption on the original poster stated in Russian "Keep your eyes open. These days, even the walls have ears.  Chatter and gossip go hand in hand with treason."   The simplicity is what makes it both provocative if not a bit frightening.
