Viva Posada Men's or Unisex T-shirt
This T-shirt features a design of mine titled "Viva Posada." The design is a homage to Jose Posada featuring some of my favorite Posada illustrations.
A lightweight, luxurious fine jersey tee screen-printed meticulously by hand in my Colorado studio.
Material & Colors:
- 100% combed ring-spun cotton: Slate Grey
- 50% combed cotton / 50% combed polyester: Heather Plum, Heather Lake Blue, Heather Forest, Heather Red
Details & Construction:
- Garment Build: Classic crewneck featuring a durable baby rib collar, reinforced shoulder-to-shoulder taping to hold its shape, and sturdy double-needle stitching at the hem.
- Artisan Screen Print: Hand-pulled screen print using eco-friendly, non-toxic water-based inks for an ultra-soft, breathable finish that won't crack or peel.
- Ethical Sourcing: Printed on USA-made, sweatshop-free Los Angeles Apparel and American Apparel blanks.
- Fit & Sizing: Unisex sizing with a modern, tailored cut (runs true to standard men’s sizing with a slightly slimmer profile). Available in XS–2XL (select styles up to 3XL–4XL). Please consult size chart for detailed measurements.
- Care: Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or line dry to keep the print and fabric vibrant.
The work of the brilliant and razor-witted José Guadalupe Posada holds a special place in my studio. His prints and broadsheets were fearless acts of social commentary - championing everyday working people while skewering the powerful and elite with sharp, satirical wit. I have always connected with that defiant spirit. For this collection, I embellished several of his historic engravings with delicate flourishes and decorative details, creating a sincere tribute to a truly iconic artist.
